Unlike school buses, STAR buses do not stop traffic while at a bus stop. For your own safety, please do not cross the street in front of any bus or step out suddenly in front of any bus. Remember, buses need more distance to stop than passenger cars. STAR does not travel on unpaved roads or on dead end roads where there is inadequate room to turn around safely.

STAR Transit has external bicycle racks to accommodate bicyclists who need to use the bus. You must receive permission to use the bicycle rack from the driver prior to mounting your bicycle. Please secure your bicycle by latching the main frame bar onto the bicycle rack using straps or bungie cords (some provided) . STAR Transit cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to your bicycle. Use at your own risk. Also, please be cautious not to cause damage to the bus while using these racks.
